Sun, surf, pets, and fun! We have stayed at this house several times and we love it. First of all, you can’t get closer to the beach. It’s right on the water. You can see the ocean from almost every window and the sun streams in. The decor is bright and charming and there is room for everyone. We love bringing our college sons and our two dogs. We wake up early at least one morning to catch the sunrise — it’s breathtaking and unfolds directly in front of you on the deck as you sip your coffee. Perfection.

We stayed at this property for a week. It was a wonderful vacation for a multitude of reasons. Joyce and her staff are top notch! If anything came up, they were on it super promptly and very polite to deal with. The property itself is decorated very nicely (beachy vibe). Upstairs was guest friendly and laid out well. There was a game closet and a decent sized pantry to store all of your food. The downstairs unit is perfect for anyone (like grandparents) who would like a little bit more separation/solitude. (The stairs to get from one level to the next are outside, which was no issue since the weather was good.) This worked out well for my parents who wanted to go to bed early and not hang during late game nights. The downstairs was a little bit damp/musty, but the staff came over and hung up some little moisture collectors and it did the trick. The grounds are amazing! The pool couldn’t have been nicer, perfect for kids and adults alike. Shallow on one end and had a built-in bench seat in the deeper end. It seemed bigger than the online pictures. Lots of available seating poolside and table with umbrella. The dock was great and we had fun trying to catch crabs. We took our paddle boards and kayaks and it was perfect for heading out first thing to get some tranquility and exercise in. Being right on the sound made for easy in/out access. I would recommend water shoes, as there was an occasional shell on the bottom of the sound side. The beach access is no more than a 3-5 minute walk. It was super easy and we did it with our group and small kids daily. The beach was never crowded and there was a tidal pool one day. It was so fun to play in the shallow water, our kids loved it! This location can’t be beat as the ocean is super close by, it’s directly on the sound and has a fabulous pool. We headed into Beaufort (one of our favorite towns) for a few evenings and saw the big boats coming in, shopped the quaint shops and had great meals. Check out The Beaufort Grocery Co, Aqua and The Spouter Inn. While at the Spouter Inn, pop your head into their bakery in the front and grab an apple turnover for breakfast the next morning. Amazing! I don’t think we could find a better spot for our next vacation in Emerald Isle if we tried, I highly recommend this property and staff!

We stayed this past weekend at Sounds Great and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the house…to the pool…to fishing on the dock our families couldn’t have had a better time. The sunsets every night were incredible. Everything was just as promised and Joyce was a pleasure to work with. There is no doubt we will be back here soon.

Relaxing NC Escape. Great location for a domestic getaway. The house has a stunning view of the beach and all rooms have great perspectives. Walk right to the beach and not a lot of people in this area. Be prepared to cook as Emerald Isle’s dining options can be challenging. Good thing the kitchen is very well equipped for a rental and the Publix is a great supermarket. The property manager, Joyce is wonderful. She was very responsive and helpful. Overall a wonderful relaxing stay.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! My family and I had such a relaxing vacation at this beach house. Every single room has a beautiful balcony view of the ocean. At night the sound of the ocean was so lovely!! It’s very open and has an abundance of space. We also enjoyed cooking in it’s fully stocked kitchen. This was our first visit to Emerald Isle and staying in this beautiful house made us want to never leave. If you’re thinking of choosing this house, trust me you will love it!!!!!!

My family had an amazing week at PDL beach properties. We stayed at Coral Cottage just walking distance from the beach. Everything was immaculate and so many amenities. Definitely can’t wait to do it again next year.

My family had a wonderful vacation at 308 Ocean Drive. The house has a perfect location just in front of the beach access. One morning we sat on the front porch and watched the dolphins swim by. Can’t wait to return!!!

Love, love, love See Turtle Cottage! I would give 10 stars if I could. This beach cottage is very clean and just so adorable. As a mom of 3 little boys, I was thrilled with the convenience of being oceanfront! We began our days walking on the beach, drinking coffee in our pj’s, and ended our evenings catching (and releasing) crabs. The boys loved it! Such precious memories made, we hope to return to See Turtle every summer! Thanks to PDL Beach Properties and Mrs. Joyce for the best family vacation!

This was the Perfect Family Vacation Beach House! Our entire family really enjoyed the house. There were 15 of us and we had plenty of room. The description of the house is very accurate. The location was perfect for our family. This is a nice clean house that was bright and airy. The customer service was excellent. Joyce was a great lady to work with. We would definitely recommend this house. We went to the aquarium and the Black Beard Museum. The family enjoyed both. The family, of course, went shopping and really enjoyed the local shops. We didn’t eat out very much. We enjoyed the kitchen and grill. Everybody wanted to enjoy the house, the beach, and relax. They want to come back again.
