A Beaufort tradition and crowd favorite, the Fourth of July Parade steps off at Gordon Street at 11 a.m. The parade and continues through downtown along the beautiful Beaufort waterfront.

The parade always draws some of the most creative minds in town, including Beaufort’s very own Sweet Potato Queens decked out in their crazy costumes. Kids, pets, wagons, and so much more make up this annual Beaufort event.

Co-sponsored by the Beaufort Development Association and the Town of Beaufort, the parade always attracts many floats.

2. July 4 Fireworks – Over the Ocean from Bogue Inlet Pier – 9 pm!

The Town of Emerald Isle is pleased to again partner with Bogue Inlet Pier to offer July 4th fireworks over the ocean!

Stephanie’s Stay at Thurman Place

What an amazing week we had here. A week with grandparents, aunts, uncles, & cousins…making lifetime memories. Plenty of space to spread out but at the same time great large spaces to play games and enjoy each other.

Rainbow over Emerald Isle Intracostal Waterway at PDL Beach Properties Thurman Estate.

Huge yard to play capture the flag. Plenty of places to grill and build campfires. Fishing was easy any time of the day with the private pier. We brought our kayaks and enjoyed endless hours paddling and enjoying the small private beach. The house was gorgeous, the pictures do not do it justice.

Beautiful furniture throughout the house that was not only amazing but functional and comfortable. Dinners around the huge dining room tables were one of my favorite parts. The room above the garage was great for night time pool tournaments and card games. Bathrooms were plentiful and always had hot water even when all were being used! We didn’t want to leave, but when we did, it was a nice drive into Beaufort where we shopped. Loved the General Store. Kids enjoyed the escape room in Morehead City. The closest store is roughly 13 miles, but the two fridges helped us stay stocked. Looking forward to planning our next visit!
